LED is by far the best option for all your lighting needs. They give the same brightness as your ordinary 25W Bulb, but only burning 3W which is basically an 8th of the power consumption. LEDs (light emitting diodes) can be used for many different purposes, car lights, boat navigation, household lights, garden lights, spot lights, counter lights and anywhere else you would like to save energy. As with most lights, LEDs come in a huge range of designs, Variation between number of diodes, different fittings, shapes, sizes, colours and effects.

Why LED???

1. LEDs use less power, thereby saving on batteries by upto a hundred times. Instead of having dead batteries in 1-2 hours, you will have the batteries producing light for 3-30 hours typically.

2. LEDs are virtually indestructible whereas a regular flashlight bulb only operates for 10-30 hours before they burn out, LEDs are generally rated for a minimum of 10,000 hours.

3.LEDs can focus their light into a beam without external optics allowing better spot viewing. They can also emit a whiter light than incandescent bulbs or in most colors without a colored lens system that absorbs 50% of the light output.

4.LEDs are shock resistant because they lack a fragile, high-temperature filament. Also unlike a hot filament they pose no danger of fire or explosion under ordinary circumstances.

5. LEDs can give out low levels of light for extremely long periods of time making them perfect for emergency situations when you cannot replace batteries or need 24 hour lighting. Most incandescent flashlights go off within an hour or so of continuous use leaving you alone in the dark.
