When it comes to marine use, stainless steel is highly recommended. Not because of its sheen or its glamour, but because of its high resistance to corrosion. This means no malignance, and long lasting strength. On the average yacht, with steel rails, you'll be out painting them every 6 months. With aluminum you'll be replacing roughly every 3 years, but with cared for stainless, the life expectancy should out- last your vessel.

No matter what people say, 316 is the only stainless to use on marine type vehicles. This is because 304 and most other types of stainless steels do not have the correct properties to withstand the corrosive powers of salt water.
All of our Stainless Steel is 316. This basically means that it can be used for exterior (outside) as well as inside. It is harder wearing and less corrosive.
Stainless Steel is great for most purposes, whether it be your home, office or for your yacht. It requires very little up-keep meaning no maintenance costs.
